NEXEN TIRE wins the ‘2017 Red Dot Design Award’ and the ‘2017 European Product Design Award’!
NEXEN TIRE has won design awards at the ‘2017 Red Dot Design Award’ and the ‘2017 European Product Design Award’ this year.
Started in 1953, German ‘Red Dot Design Award’ is one of the world’s top three design awards along with the ‘IDEA Design Award’ of US and ‘IF Design Award’ of Germany.
NEXEN TIRE’s ‘N’FERA RU1’ has been awarded the Winner Prize in the category of Vehicle Accessories at the ‘2017 Red Dot Design Award’.
In addition, NEXEN TIRE, has also received awards in various categories at the ‘2017 European Product Design Award’, the world-class design awards to beautiful, innovative and ground breaking products, gave the ‘N’FERA RU1’ the gold prize in the category of Transportation, the Silver Prize in the category of vehicle accessories, and the silver prize in the category of manufacturing; and the ‘WINGUARD SNOW’G WH2’ received the Bronze Prize in the category of Vehicle Accessories and the Bronze prize in the category of manufacturing.
In particular, the ‘N’FERA RU1’, which is an original equipment tire for the Porsche Cayenne as NEXEN TIRE’s premium SUV tire that boasts a comfortable ride and silent operation, also earned design honors at six design awards from around the world such as Europe, the US and Asia as well as the ‘2017 Red Dot Design Award’ and the ‘2017 European Product Design Award’.

The awards ceremony of the ‘2017 European Product Design Awards’ is to be held in April 12th in Brussels, Belgium. The awards ceremony of the ‘2017 Red Dot Design Awards’ will be held on July 3rd, and the Prize-winning works are expected to be on display in the Red Dot Design Museum.
